This weekend, myself and a group of friends trekked up to Happy Valley to the End Zone to look at boobies. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. $20 gets you all the free beer you can drink, and the priviledge of looking at naked women.
Amidst having my face buried in breasts and inhaling the scent of cotton-candy vajayjay, a thought occured to me: this is all highly impersonal. But then I realized it kind of has to be. These women aren’t doing this because they genuinely like you, they’re doing it because it’s their job and they want your money. After this brief flirtation with outrage at the staged nature of the whole show, I went back to mindlessly enjoying nakedness.
I want to take the time to express my admiration and respect for what these women do. They get naked and perform for the perverse pleasure of men (and women). Some people view strippers as obscene and morally wrong. I disagree. I think it takes a lot of courage to be up there flaunting your sexuality for countless random perverts. Let’s also not forget the fact that these women make absurd amounts of money doing what they do.
So that, in combination with pre-gaming PBR at Zilla’s, made for a fun weekend. Yay for boobies and beers!

Well, here it is. My very first post on my very first blog. One might say I’m a little late to the game, since everyone these days has their own blog. Sure, I have Facebook and MySpace accounts, but those are different. I intend to use this to express my thoughts on a (hopefully) daily basis.
Being a computer-saavy person, one would think I would have started doing this years ago. Simply put, I never much had a desire to put thoughts down where people could see them. I’m by nature a private person, not being prone to letting real feelings show.
So why now? I’m not really sure about that. I’m not sure anyone will even read these things. I guess a reason could be that if someone out there reads something I’ve posted and gets some type of benefit from it, then maybe it’s not all useless.
Ok, now on to the subject of my first post. I thought long and hard about this. What would be the best thing to put here?

- A scathing discourse on the state of politics in the U.S. today?
- Why people shouldn’t read a book just because Oprah says it’s good?
Nope, my first post is about Mel’s Tacos. These things are fucking awesome. Two huge soft-shell tacos for like 5 bucks. You can’t beat it!
